Before sending a job to Ries Graphics, please check the following items to help avoid delays in processing:

Are discs or folders appropriately labeled?

Did you print a directory of the contents of each disk submitted to include with the job?

Have you printed a hard copy (such as laser proofs) of your pages? This MUST be included with each job. Also — is it the latest version, printed at 100%? (If the hard copy was unable to be printed at 100%, the percentage at which it was printed should be clearly noted.)

Are all files needed to complete the job present? (One of the most common reasons for a delayed job is missing files.)

In addition, have you included only the files that are relevant to the job?

Have you included the fonts for each job, including those used in linked files (Adobe Illustrator files, for example)? (We cannot legally store and reuse customer-provided fonts.)

With Type 1 fonts, did you include both the screen and printer fonts?

Did you include all images and graphics files, including those imbedded within other graphics files?

Do linked graphics files have the same names as when you linked them? (They should.)

Is the page size of your document the same as the finished product size?

Did you include bleed? All documents with elements that print to the edge of the page must include 1/8" bleed on all sides.

Be sure to check our Tips and Tricks page for additional tips you can use when building your document to help your files process in a smooth and efficient manner.
